Finally, the weekend, and House of Istria has had a little break! Coffee and cupcakes with a dear friend, and then time spent leafing leisurely through The Times and our favourite online sites. Which is where we stumbled across the absolutely stunning work of jeweller Tom Binns. His work makes me want to make crazy headdresses with rows and rows of jewels piled on top of one another. His pieces arent for everyone; theyre very elaborate, have a bit of a dark side, and would absolutely steal the attention away from any outfit. We would throw one over the top of a white vest or plain strappy summer dress and team with those little plimsolls we love. If its good enough for Michelle Obama, it's good enough for us!
